I bought some UV LEDs once, they wern't very hard UV, but i wonder if they would suffice to cure something like this.. A UV led head on a reprap and some sort of 'resin pool' on the z axis might be something interesting... Not sure how you would 'raise' the edges of your resin pool as the z axis lowers though... Unfortunately, they dont sell fixtures in the store.
Make sure you have eliminated all water before applying the epoxy. After the process proved successful, we then went back and tried it on other characters. Please switch to the all-flannel wheel and then load it with a small amount of carnauba wax. You will need to buff the wheel once more resin is added. You can buff the whole model, even the concave areas, by using different parts of your wheel. If you need to find more minor details, you can even dig into the corners of the wheel.
Most UV resins cure under UV light in 1-2 minutes. A good quality UV resin shouldn’t take more than that to cure. Another form of material that can be used with UV resin is wood.
